
Julio C. Jaramillo
Since 1992, Julio Jaramillo has been dedicated to protecting the rights of individuals in court throughout the State of Florida. Mr. Jaramillo graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar and the Federal Bar for the Southern District of Florida in 1992.
He rapidly developed a reputation as a skilled litigator and in 1998 started his own private practice. The skills he learned defending big insurance companies have helped him secure tens of millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients against the insurance companies.
Mr. Jaramillo is a member of the Florida Bar, the Federal Bar for the Southern District of Florida, and he has been a member of the American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, the Cuban-American Bar Association and the Florida Justice Association. He was a founder of the Colombian-American Bar Association and is currently the Chair of the Colombian American Service Association. Mr. Jaramillo was past Chair of a Grievance Committee for the Florida Bar, and is currently a member of the Florida Bar's Arbitration Committee.
He was recently reappointed to the Florida Bar Foundation's Board of Directors.
Mr. Jaramillo has the highest rating available from Martindale-Hubble (AV). His extensive trial practice spans the areas of professional liability, nursing home liability, general liability, and corporate litigation. Mr. Jaramillo is fluent in English and Spanish.
